Steve Kuclo – the new superstar of bodybuilding. He was born on August 15, 1985 in Detroit, Michigan. His childhood was spent in the provincial town of St Clare Shores, Michigan. Steve is the only child in a close-knit family. From childhood he was fond of various kinds of sports: basketball, hockey, football. Steve was lucky that the family supported him throughout his sports career, beginning with his early sports interests. At a young age Steve Kuclo achieved great success in hockey, gained national and international recognition and even contributed to the hockey gallery of glory (“Hockey Hall of Fame”, Toronto, Canada).
After graduation, Steve Kuclo entered the University of Michigan, where he initially studied as an automation engineer, but after two years of study decided to change his specialty. He entered an Academy in the specialty firefighter-paramedic (providing emergency medical care in case of fires and rescue operations). At the same time, Steve became infatuated with bodybuilding. In the gym that he attended, the competing bodybuilders trained, thanks to which Steve’s motivation was very high. In 2003, at the age of 18, Steve Kuclo and his training partner Justin Harris performed at the first competitions – the Michigan Championship. Steve took the 1 st place among teens and the third place in the male absolute. Kuclo continued to compete and won 2 years in a row at the Nationals tournament among juniors in the heavyweight division. After the Nationals 2010 tournament, Steve Kuclo started training under the guidance of “Pro Creator” Hani Rambaud, author of the well-known training system FST-7 and founder of the company “Evogen Nutrition”. As you know, Haney Rambod coached multiple Olympian Mysteries Jay Cutler, Phil Heath and many other athletes.
The result of the year of their joint work was the victory of Steve at the 2011 US Championship in Las Vegas in the heavyweight division, in the absolute classification and the professional IFBB card.
In 2012, Steve Kuclo made his debut on the professional stage. At the tournament “New York Pro” in 2012, he was third, behind Johnnie Jackson and Cedric McMillan. His first professional victory Kuclo won in 2013 at the tournament “Europe Supershow” (IFBB).
In 2013, Steve Kuclo first took part in the tournament, “Mr. Olympia”, where he took the 14th place. In 2014, he rose to 9th place.
Steve Kuclo predict a great future in professional bodybuilding. Some call him “America’s last white hope.” There are rumors that after leaving the professional stage by Jay Cutler, it is Steve Kuclo who will be “pulled” to the best places in the tournament lists.
Now Steven and his wife, the famous bodybuilder Emmy Peters, live in Dallas, Texas. Kuclo is the representative of Heni Rambod’s “Evogen Nutrition” company. He also conducts online webinars on the subject of training and nutrition.
