This vitamin is very useful in enhancing the metabolism of amino acids. Many bodybuilders are Biotin deficient because when you eat raw white eggs it leads to this deficiency. Salmonella which is a bacterial infection also occurs as a result of eating raw eggs.
3. Riboflavin (vitamin B2)
This vitamin is very important because it helps a person generate energy in three area; the first one is glucose metabolism, the second is in the oxidation of fatty acids and the third one is in the releasing of hydrogen ions through Krebs cycle.
4. Vitamin A
Apart from helping a person improve there vision, this vitamin has several benefits for a bodybuilder. Vitamin A helps a bodybuilder by enhancing the synthesis of proteins which is the building block of muscles.
5. Vitamin E
This vitamin is very useful for a bodybuilder because it acts as an antioxidant. This is because it helps protect the membrane of muscle tissues. This is very necessary because metabolic processes usually take place in the cell tissues.
6. Niacin
This vitamin is also referred to as Vitamin B3. This also helps in the production and generation of energy in three areas; the first one is glucose metabolism, the second is in the oxidation of fatty acids and the third one is in the releasing of hydrogen ions through Krebs cycle.
7. Vitamin D
This vitamin is very important because it enhances the absorption of calcium and Phosphorous by the body. These two minerals namely Calcium and Phosphorous are used to enhance muscular contraction of the body.
